Race Report: Wheelchair 4km race joins the Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS suite of events
A 14-year-old from Windaroo and a wheelchair racing newbie snared a piece of history on Saturday morning as the first ever winners of the Gold Coast Wheelchair 4km Race.
Race Report: Over 900 fleet footed youngsters and their parents take on the Gold Coast Bulletin 2km Junior Dash.
In the Gold Coast Bulletin 2km Junior Dash young speedster Judah Magarey (6:35) made it two wins in a row for the first time in this event since Matthew Lowe’s 2016-2017 double while cross country specialist Ava Gard took the girl’s crown in 7:29.
History made and records tumble ahead of 44th Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS
Gold Coast major event history has been made just days out from this weekend’s Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS. A record 30,000 plus entrants will face the starter for the ASICS Marathon, Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km Run, CPL Wheelchair races, Gold Coast Airport 5km the Wheelchair 4km and the Gold Coast Bulletin 4km and 2km Junior Dash races.
